We are thoroughly happy with the service PayPal is providing in this way except that…

As PayPal guides you through checkout, for some reason, they have decided to steer customers toward using PayPal over credit cards like VISA, MasterCard, etc.

This does not mean that you can’t do it, it just means that seeing how to do it might be hard (at first).  This can lead to confusion and even frustration for some.  How confusing it is for you depends partly on how often you use the PayPal check-out system.  Since millions of companies use it, and it is so common, you might be used to how to navigate these waters already.

In-case you are not, and in-case you desire to use a credit card, here are step-by-step instructions for how to do it:

Simple steps for using a credit card…

1.  Click on item you want, which takes you to your first shopping cart page known as “Cart”, then…

2.  Click on the text that says… Proceed to Secure Checkout which takes you to the 2nd shopping cart page known as “Check Out”, then…

3.  Click on the button that says “Check out with PayPal“, which takes you to the true PayPal environment, and the most tricky stage of this process…

4.  Once on this page, see the right column  which starts out with “Choose a way to Pay“, follow this column down until you see the text “Don’t have a PayPal account“, click on this! 

5.  That’s it, You Did It!  That was the simple step that can be hard to find.  Now you should see a form for paying with a credit card.  Fill out the form and you are home-free!

By the way, according to PayPal, if you don’t have a PayPal account on the computer you are using, you may be sent directly to this page (meaning the page mentioned in item #5 above), thus missing a lot of the steering/confusion.

Our feeling is that we are very happy to have you pay with your PayPal account, and many people do, it’s just that it shouldn’t be so hard to see how to pay with a credit card for those who want to.
